This homeowner desired to update the master bathroom to create a more functional open space without compromising the aesthetics. We combined practicability and visual harmony by considering each and every element in this bathroom and how it interacts with the available space. Selecting a small bathtub was a great solution, especially when there are so many chic models out there. Large floor tiles, as well as light grey paint on the walls makes the room feel more spacious, whereas dark hues would have inspired crowdedness. A contemporary ivory Caesarstone apron provides a clean and clutter free countertop for dressing. In the shower we replaced a dated enclosed tile wall with contemporary glass to open the room allowing for more natural light to illuminate the space.
